Base Molecule does not manufacture the research materials it sells. Our role is to qualify the source, require independent evidence, connect that evidence to the labeled lot, and make the record easy to inspect.

The Verified Supply Standard is Base Molecule’s own release framework, not an outside certification. Credibility must come from identifiable laboratory evidence connected to the specific inventory offered for sale.
Release requirements
Five gates. One traceable record.
Methods and acceptance criteria must be appropriate to the product and disclosed with the released lot record.
Identity
The submitted sample is analyzed using an applicable identity method. The method and result belong on the laboratory report.
Purity and content
Applicable purity and net-content results are compared with the stated specification rather than presented as unsupported marketing numbers.
Applicable safety analysis
Microbial, endotoxin, elemental, or other checks are required when relevant to the material and its documented research format.
Public traceability
The catalog ID, physical label, lot number, test date, laboratory, methods, results, and original report remain connected.
Independent evidence
Not a self-issued purity claim.
Base Molecule’s mark should indicate that a qualifying lot passed the published release process. It should never replace the laboratory report or imply that Base Molecule is the testing laboratory.
Before launch: name the testing provider, finalize product-specific specifications, and publish the first genuine lot record.
Public lot records
The label becomes the lookup key.
Every qualifying label should carry the identifier needed to open the matching evidence record.

Does Base Molecule manufacture these materials?
No. Base Molecule sources inventory and is responsible for its supplier review, verification requirements, lot traceability, and published documentation.
Is this an independent certification?
No. It is Base Molecule’s internal supply and release standard. The supporting analytical reports must be issued by identifiable independent laboratories.
What happens when a lot does not meet its specification?
Under the proposed release standard, it is withheld from sale and handled under the applicable inventory procedure.
Can customers see the original report?
A qualifying released-lot record should link to the laboratory-issued report rather than a rewritten certificate created by Base Molecule.
